Hello Dear Parents!
As we begin the 2014 part of our school year, I wish each of you a wonderful new year and an exciting second half of the 2013-2014 school year.
As we return to school and get back into our daily routines, we will begin a unit of study on Matter including gasses, liquids, solids, weight, measurement and force. It should be fun! After that we will study National Symbols. In the spring we will do a full unit on Oceans and Sea Life which will be the theme of our Open House in late spring.
Thank you for all your support this year and your efforts at home. Our students are doing very well in reading and math and I appreciate the nightly reading, sight word practice, and math facts practice you are doing. It will be important to continue to practice these important skills.
As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns and let's continue to work together to provide the best education possible for our wonderful students.
