News from our Students!title

Before our Winter Break, I surveyed the children asking them about what they liked most about school right now. Here are their responses (paraphrased).

Shelby stated that the best part of school is stories, reading, and art. Math is okay, but sometimes it is hard. Movies are fun and getting presents. Shelby does not like math facts practice but says she is getting pretty good at it!

Daphne thinks the best part of school is having drawing time with pink and purple pens. Daphne loves her PE class and recess.

Matthew loves art and checks the schedule daily to see if it is on the agenda. Matthew says PE and art are the best. Work is not fun but marshmallows are yummy.

Vincent says he likes computers and choice time and recess, and snack and making words and ABC time. He also states that he likes math and hard thinking.

Miguel stated that he likes Christmas in San Diego and is it time to go? He also stated that he likes math and computers and Math Facts in a Flash.

Ashwin says sitting by friends is best and playing with sand at choice time. Ashwin also stated that he likes to work to go and look at fans and motors and pipes around the school.
