Sarah Stowers

I am Sarah Stowers and I am so excited to get to know you and your kindergartener! Let me tell you a little bit about me! This will be my 6^th year teaching in the Rocklin School District and my 5^th year at Sunset Ranch. I came to Sunset Ranch from Rock Creek Elementary where I taught the foundations (now Transitional Kindergarten (TK)) program. It is a program near and dear to my heart! I also have experience teaching in the 1^st and 3^rd grades in other districts. I hold a BA as well as an MA in Child Development from Sacramento State University. I LOVE research, professional development, and any information pertaining to children and their AMAZING brains!

In my spare time I love to run and spend time with my family! My husband Matt is a firefighter paramedic and also works for UC Davis hospital. We just got married this past summer! My parents live on Anvil Court so I enjoy seeing my kiddos around the neighborhood! My sister and only sibling lives in Rocklin with her husband and 3 children. Her oldest, my nephew Caden will be in second grade and Rowen will be entering kindergarten this year at Sunset Ranch…look out! I  LOVE having them at school with me. I also have a niece Remi (2 yrs.). I will talk about all 3 of them like they are my own!!!

I am so looking forward to this year and getting to know you! I am HUGE on communication and will always try my hardest to make myself available for whatever comes up! Please, DO NOT hesitate to come to me with anything you may need. Thank you so much for allowing me to get to know your child this year. It is not a privilege that I take lightly.
