· SIGHT WORD REVIEW: Please continue to review ALL sight words for our final assessments of the year!
Sea Animal Fact worksheet: Your child has been assigned an ocean animal to research. On the sheet provided, have your child write 3 facts about his/her animal. These should be short phrases (just one or two words for each fact). We have practiced the difference between fact and opinion so your child should know that “sharks are cool” is not a fact. OCEAN REPORT FACT WEBS: Please make sure to complete your ocean animal web (came home in Wednesday folders 5/4). These need to be returned by next Wednesday 5/11.
- Book Bags read nightly and practice your word rings.

Themes we study in May
Our class will study the ocean habitat and sea animal. Your child will write a animal report!!!
Math: We will be working on subtraction stories and addition stories.
I will be giving out LEXIA awards Tues., 4/5.
Keep up the great work!
Mondays: Remember to wear your bee class shirts each Monday in addition to all field trips!
Fridays: Every Friday is spirit day! Wear SR coyote apparel, school colors, or your favorite sports apparel.
