About Me
Welcome to the 2016 – 2017 school year and welcome to fifth grade! It is my expectation that you are in store for an excellent year of growth, physically, mentally and emotionally.
I have been in education for many years. I home schooled my three children for several years. When they entered the public school system, I volunteered at their school like many of you. I made my way into subbing, aiding, and eventually ran the Breen Library for nine years. When my youngest son entered his junior year at Rocklin High School, I decided I wanted a job that would offer me a “little” more of a challenge. I went back to school and earned a teaching credential.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from UC Irvine in 1978 and my teaching credential from UC Davis in 2002. I taught at Valley View Elementary for seven years and was transferred to Sunset Ranch in 2010/2011.
Teaching is a wonderful challenge. I enjoy interacting with your children. Seeing them grow mentally, physically and emotionally is a true joy.
